Number plates – it’s a plausible local combination for 1971, but not currently extant AFAIK. I could go into detail but it’s very dull – read www.cvpg.co.uk/REG.pdf if you really care ;)

Wheels - I removed the outermost lip & square off the two flats & vertical between them on the Unimat, then add two layers of 0.5mm styrene. This makes them a scale 14", rather than the stock 15.75" (the scale 12" I got when using this type of wheel for "Snowy" would have been too much).

I will trim off the excess once everything is set :)

Wheels all trimmed back & ready for primer ... I don't know if the weather is going to be up to  between now & Christmas, I might end up mixing some Gun Metal & Flat Aluminium & using that over the bare plastic instead

I've collected some bloo bits (including the rubber shielded bearings) for the build.

This is a slightly better representation of the body colour :)

11 degrees C, and 90% humidity is not ideal for spraying, but it's the best it's been for a long while, and might be as good as it gets before Christmas, so I got some grey primer on the wheels :)

Last touches on the wheels - 4 light coats of Titanium Silver airbrushed on, and two coats of Rubber Black brush painted on the edges :)

This is pretty much finished, bar getting some pretty, final pics.

One thing I did find though, the M-05 chassis was weirdly unlike those I'd built recently...  still obviously a Tamiya M, but oddly different.

Then I remembered, the last 3 M chassis I built were all M-06s

I like the m05 because you don't need any spares to have the 3 wheelebases. And it is compact.
