Hello,
I enjoyed to enter a body of the Sand Scorcher on a chassis of the Grasshopper.
This chassis has been modified regards the dampers and the rear part to accommodate the rear cage characteristic of this machine.
All changes and bullbar are handmade by me.
The result is a car that costs half as compared to the Sand Scorcher, is equipped with a differential, and then it was fun.
I forgot and will be painted over as the "General Lee" Dukes of Hazzard television series.
I hope the photos you see ..........

Some outstanding work there - the front shock tower is especially impressive :y: :)

The additions to the rear end worry me though, the Grasshopper rolling rear axle doesn't work that well at the best of times: I would think the last thing it needs is more unsprung weight.

I have not tried it on track, I hope that the shock absorbers work well, otherwise it'll modify the setting.

That's some very cool modding. Looks great. :y:

A small tip - when you also use the 'Insert' button after adding a picture, it will appear full size in your message. ;)

that looks very cool. i think some different wheels, rather than the hopper wheels would look good, and maybe some tinted windows to hide all the electrickery would be a nice touch as well.
very nice fabrication work, do you have a mill, lathe at home?

That's what I like to see! Nice work mate!
Out of interest, what other engineering projects do you get up to?
