I built this model from an incomplete chassis.
After careful restoration, I made two aluminum plates entirely by hand of thickness of two mm. They are used to connect the two gearboxes. These were painted with a rust / dirt effect. The dampers supports have been made with two pieces of chassis cut and stretched The result is seen in the photos. Now I have to solve the problem of electrical connections. I thought I would connect two TEU104 bk to a receiver. Another problem with the body: what to use? Suggestions are welcome. |

Realy fun mod. You could find a pair of pick up ABS bodies? Like clod buster? Or better a bullhead body wich you could modify the rear and doing a bed?
Very pretty work on your junction parts. Congrats |

Thank you ,yes your it might be a good idea, my wish would be a prolonged beetle body with 4 fenders and a V8 motor in the rear, between the two gearboxes, but I can not make it clear this solution. |

Very nice idea a beetle limo.
Revell/ MONGRAM make a scale HEMI V8 1/8th. Or you have the solution to use 2 lexan combi bodies mixed by the inside and painted from extern. (not sure about this solution...) |

I prefer to use abs car bodies, they are easier to modify.
V 8 motors I already have some monograms but also lindberg. Lindberg are very old but are of excellent quality. Thanks for the tips |
