Blazing Blazer Chassis Custom Build 3 years 9 months ago #60895

It doesn't seem that long since I last dusted the Clod, but I guess it's been longer than I thought - note the bodyclip "shadow" & the rotting dutch cap :(

It's just sitting on the body posts so you'd be able to lower it & sort the angle, but a Clod body on a 3-speed chassis looks quite a credible choice.

The only issue is the front of the chassis would stick out underneath the under grille panel with the wheelarches centred over the hubs.

Clod body is 37mm shorter than the Bruiser:

It looks a lot narrower than the Bruiser body, but (apart from the wheelarch flares) it really isn't.

I know a direct Blazer/Clod comparison would have been more use, but from what I've seen here, a "Bustin' Blazer" could work :)

Hi Jonny, thanks for taking the time to do this for me, cheers.

It’s good to know it could be a viable option. And gives me something to think about.
I was looking at the rc4wd K5 Blazer body yesterday as well.
I think the ultimate would be to chop off the roof and try to get a driver, some kind of interior and a roll cage on it.
Although if done badly it could end up looking like a crap imitation.
I’m tempted to buy both shells.

Thanks again Jonny.
