A few pics after sanding, reffilling and sanding.....

As the body had several dammage on the little part over the window (don't know how it's called in english  ) i tried to reproduce it with an old bank card.
Unfortunatley the result was not satisfying...

I went to a bodyshop and asked them for their plastic cement or 2 components plastic repair kit. Afer applying a bit on the window edge it already looks better than my first idea. I need to work a bit on it..hopefully this afternoon....

I'll keep you posted

In the UK that would be a "gutter", in American English I believe a "drip rail".

I've been working on the "gutter", filling, sanding and filling again and i think that the result isn't that bad !
I finished sanding the whole little scratches all over the body and finally could apply the first coat of primer.

Close up on the self made gutter

Time for the first coat of primer after having a good clean.

In the mean time i checked the front grill that went for a bath in DOT4 brake fluid for a day.

This is how it looked like before

Hi Stingray,
Sorry for my late reply.
I mainly use this Chrome paint...see pic below.
I have been trying several ones i found on my modeller's shop specially made for models. But i have to say that the best result i ever got is with this one. I got it from the car paint corner in our local mall ( For European's it's called Jumbo brico & loisirs ).

I started with the first coat of paoint yesteray....
I decided to use Tamiya TS-45 pearl white and it looks perfect to me !

Also started cleaning off the rims, sanding them and applying the first coat of white primer. Unfortunaltely i ran off primer and couldn't do the job on the front rims....going to my modeller's shot later today

Thanks for looking
