That's a nice fix for the new " Tamiya " labelled front tyres.Nice one.

Dusted off the barely started "Super Brat" to tackle some of the looseness in the chasis parts - new bearings, a couple of longer screws with nuts behind, new zip ties, one helicoil in a front suspension arm + a few minutes with allen keys & a screwdriver have made things a lot better.

It could stand some new "ball plate(s)" for the front uprights but it's no longer the floppy mess that it was.

I really don't feel like starting anything too involved at the moment, but a basic "topper" for the load bed should be fairly simple

Thought the proportions of the topper looked wrong, so had another go in cereal box, 20mm lower:

OMG! It's ... evolving.

Sides cut & assembled, but lots of filling/sanding to do... The topper needs to be removeable, the plan is to put tabs on (roughly where the tape is) containing magnets, and have more magnets hidden under the body.

Securing tabs made, wasn't sure if they would hold long terms so reinforced with M3 CSK machine screws. I want to hide the heads rather than paint over them, so stuck caps on with epoxy. Top panel needs internal reinforcement & then all the filling/sanding can begin. Magnets arrived today, no pics but I have epoxied them in & it looks promising
