A few bits of custom loveliness for the Taisan to replace broken or missing J parts for the frp chassis, a big thank you to Sander (waterbok) for the sexy shiny alloy stuff and a pal of mine Nick Walker who does magic with CF

This is what I’ve got on my Taisan, not 100% guaranteed to be OG tho

So finally got some more done to the Taisan
Gearboxes rebuilt and fully ballraced and also hubs ballraced aswell, both front and rear dogbones have be changed for OG universal joint shafts

And then finished chassis off with the shiny bits from Sander and CF spacer from nick walker
It’s looking sexy

So we are nearing the end of this build, just the wheels to go
Decided they looked pretty rubbish in standard form so went for a bit of detailing on the centres
First off a coat of tamiya gold



Then out with the liquid mask to cover the gold I wanted to keep



Then a coat of matt black to disguise the blanks and accentuate the spokes



Time to peel off the mask and see if it looks as I want it
