Lightbuckets looks like this. Follows the contour of the body so should be easy to install.

Will be painting the buckets with chrome paint before fitting.

Thanks Richard!
I see the way it is done.... Won't work for the lunchbox, but maybe the buckets in which my lenses are delivered will do :-)
I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

Awesome richard. I have it in 1/24 but she looks awesome. Maybe nicer than the Mercedes slr. And for your buckets, I would use the molotov chrome pen. I'll take an eye on a body. You did an amazing work

A decade ago I used to use Maglite AAA lightbuckets bougth at my local outdoor shop.
They have chrome finish on the reflector so it will flow the lights nicely.
I think I have a couple of them still so I can measure the diameter.
They are ment for a mini bulb, but drilling for 3 or 5mm led is no problem.

These Zakspeed headlights are around 15mm in diameter so I think the ones from Maglite is too big. But could work awesome for other projects.
I used a pair of those on a HPI Bronco body and they were a perfect fit.
Shoegoo or something like that works fine for securing them to the body.

I popped into my LHS this morning and bought these, never can have too many BBS wheels you know

I was also determinded to finished the sticker job, which I did.
Took me 5 hours.
This kit contains about 90 decals, some are duplicate ones with the same number. And all has to be cut. And if you like stickers, well this is one for you
Still needs a bit work here and there, but otherwise complete. I skipped the wiper as it just a sticker.

The Zakspeed Capri looks so good from this angle, love the rear end!
Also fitted the my homemade diffuser.

Will for now live in my vitrine cabinet.
I should fit a proper location to take some pictures some day.
