TOPIC: Lotus 99 58068

Lotus 99 58068 2 weeks 8 hours ago #57185

I have the opportunity to buy this lotus based on the road wizard chassis lightly different of the «official» road wizard.
It is in a very good state.
The main gear (identical to the rm01 956) is worn and need to be replaced.
I only dismantled it and puted bearings into front wheeles. Cleaned and rebuilt it.
I puted a futaba radio set. I hope it is period radio
(Except the transmitter)
If somebody could say me where I can find a main gear, and probably a attack transmitter.
I hope you like it.

That is beautiful. I've always wanted a formula one style RC but it would definitely have to be a runner. Unfortunately, there's nowhere locally to use road cars so any runner projects have to be off road buggys. There was once a huge concrete court where we would go as youngsters and skate, use our BMX's and race RC cars (Had some memorable afternoons with my nitro road car which was an absolute rocket). But a couple of years ago the council dug it all up to build all weather football pitches that have been fenced off and hardly get used. Such a shame.
Lovely car Stingray :)
