Looking forward to the updates on the build..

Will post pics tomorrow - made some progress today but ran into an issue with the ball plates - the original ones don't work with the re-re threaded balls, they are larger than the old brass ones.

I want to use the re-re ones because they are more sturdy and this car won't be a shelf queen. I've ordered the parts....

Progress from the weekend, still waiting on parts to move forward:

Parts are a mixture of old and new, as much of the original car is used but unfortunately most of it is too far gone to re-use.

Project is still on-going, currently waiting on parts from Japan, which are stuck in customs & some other parts from the RC Channel.

Will start the body shell painting this weekend, planning on doing it old skool with proper masking and not relying on the re-re stickers.

Hi Northern,
Unfortunately the pictures are loading with a huge delay on my comp...I supposed it'ks related to the COVID confinment and the Internetlines are overloaded with all the people working from home.
anyway, i'm sure it looks pretty good and i'll try it back again in a while.

It's not just COVID, the pics are slow to load because they were uploaded at 4600 x 3000 resolution. They should probably be scaled down to about 1000 pixels wide before upload.
