You really got a good one. Looks great for its age and mostly there as you said...
Love using MCI/TBG combo for rebuilds when originals are scarce..

And Up to part 46, This covers the completed chassis and electrics
The next part is to refurbish the rims, I currently have 3 but a Buddy has one for me thankfully
Unfortunately while using my lathe the other night it made a strange noise, Turned out to be the drive belt
Good news I have ordered and upgrade version
Also I have ordered some new tyres.
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate

Looking really good Andy. What are the MCI tyres like ? I’m assuming they are 3D printed. They’ve got some interesting new stuff coming through. Still makes me question why Tamiya aren’t doing anything to help the resto market, but are still happy to close down people that are making repo items ????
I know it’s probably been asked many times before, but I’d be interested to know why Tamiya aren’t supporting the resto market. I’m assuming the numbers don’t work. Although I’m intrigued at the old body sets they brought out for sale at trade shows a while ago, the Celica, Countach, Tyrell, Ferrari 312 T3 ???? Again go figure. |

My goodness she cleaned up well. From the first post to where you are now. You are so lucky to find a well used but also well looked after example!
Interested in the shock design, do they work "well" i mean for the age and tech back then. The reservoir tube is is wild. Bluegoodness
