The wild one pilote head looks very similar. 

It may look similar, but it is structurally different...
The Hunter one is made of a Helmet built in two parts, and the body, and the wheel, and that is supposed to be fxed on the radio box...
Worse case scenario, I saw a driver figure on thingiverse for the Grasshopper/Hornet, and I could remix and build it on top of a radio box made to fit the Hunter... The one thing it won't work is the driver head, as there is details it will be difficult to smooth on the driver head... By default, I would put an ESC in it rather than a MSC. and since there is a BEC included in ESCs, there is plenty of place to put the ESC inside the radio box.

That being said, I may still want to find a broken MSC to build an hoax MSC with 3D printed servo case (for the sake of vintage realism).

Have you got a pict of the msc? I had one in spare but I don't know more if it is gone with the golden eagle.

I saw a picture of the pilot. I am sure that you could make something with a fox or blackfoot body . I will see what's the nicest.

the servo was pasted with double faced tape, and it was sticked on the chassis... If you have a pic of the MSC you have, I'll be able to confirm it is the same or not (I remember this one clearly as I spent a lot of time repairing it with a solder iron

I had a similar one on the cj7. I will see in my stock but not sure I still have the second one.

Yes, it looks like this one could make it. Definitely could replace the original one if the original can't be find... It means I will have a plan B if needed. I won't take it on ebay, as it seems to be easy to find (this was also used for the re-release Bigwig)...
