HI!... Are the small tubes old RC10 nose tubes? If not they look exactly like them. Even have the through hole in the same spot. ...

It's just coincidence that they look the similar, they're really nothing alike - mild steel, solid bar, not drilled at the ends ... and they're one piece with the loop/vertical bits at the front.

:)

I built up the 2nd one over the last few days ...

I was amazed you still get fuse wire like this - I've never seen a rewireable fusebox IRL ...

Didn't get very far with the gearbox at first - note the "bearing" (I had to make a white nylon replacement):

I still need to fix the front bumper crosspiece on better & make an antenna and holder, but it's mostly done :)

Very nice JR :)
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

I forgot I needed ends for the the steering rods - finding them was a lot easier once I'd worked out they're called "swingkeepers"

I think that listing has been up for a while, not surprising at that price

Interesting that it came with the chassis built, but the driver/interior needed cutting out & painting - I wonder if that's why so few drivers survived. If the car was bought mostly by people who didn't want to do any more than fit radio gear & stick the decals on, how many driver vacforms just got binned?

Good job. Compliments. I got one from ebay for less than 30 €. Has the ruined tires! Is there anything compatible?

Thank you

No idea TBH ... I don't have either of these cars any more, or the spare set of wheels :(
