It's just coincidence that they look the similar, they're really nothing alike - mild steel, solid bar, not drilled at the ends ... and they're one piece with the loop/vertical bits at the front.

I built up the 2nd one over the last few days ...
I was amazed you still get fuse wire like this - I've never seen a rewireable fusebox IRL ... Didn't get very far with the gearbox at first - note the "bearing" (I had to make a white nylon replacement): I still need to fix the front bumper crosspiece on better & make an antenna and holder, but it's mostly done

I think that listing has been up for a while, not surprising at that price
Interesting that it came with the chassis built, but the driver/interior needed cutting out & painting - I wonder if that's why so few drivers survived. If the car was bought mostly by people who didn't want to do any more than fit radio gear & stick the decals on, how many driver vacforms just got binned?
