The ST-15 Rebuild + The T-Maxx 2.5 Rebuild 10 years 10 months ago #22131

Hey all  Well just another RC I saved recently and have been rejuvenating  This is a Tower Hobbies ST-15 stadium truck  I picked it up in a job lot for which I was more interested in the other of the 2 RC's. As you can see from the pic's it was in bad shape  Not only did it have the wrong wheels on it, but it was covered in all types of grime :pinch:

So firstly I stripped it all down and cleaned everything up  I decided to rebuild it as was to see what was missing from original, as well as sorting out the shocks I needed to get a new spur gear which I chose to go with the 2 speed option ;) I wanted to get the original rims for it but decided to get some aftermarket tyres :)

After disassembly cleaning reassembly and disassembly  I decided to remove the anodized blue from the chassis and top deck, since it was in such poor condition this was an easy choice ;) Even though there was some tarnishing from the original damage I didn't polish to keep some simplicity, then all I needed to do was wait for some parts after doing the final assembly :pinch:

 Maybe could you brush it to have a good finish and it is easier than polish?
