Thanks everyone
Before I painted it was my idea having some text on bottom of doors and chin spoiler in fluorcent yellow, but I could not find reverse letters to put on the inside to be painted. I'm not steady enough to make letters with a scapel. Had a really hard time to follow window trims, letters would be all messed up. But yes I will put something on the front. |

If you can live with vinyl & depending on whether they're practical (i.e. big enough) I can have a go on the plotter/cutter. I have a little of two flavours of yellow, "medium" & "light", which I can best describe as free range egg yolk, and cheap supermarket battery hen yolk respectively

Haha!
Thanks for the offer. Don't think those colors will work. But white with ESCORT will do as I do have some white Good Year stickers left over from the Würth Zakspeed Capri sticker sheet. But period correct norwegian license plates whould have been great. But I will ask around if any here can help me.

Body is now mounted.
I used Traxxas Flat Head 3x6mm bolts as the heads a big with minimal hight (#3932) Really happy with the outcome In the rear I used a 13mm M3 threaded spacer, 3x8mm set screw in the 6mm magnet and threaded that into the spacer. Simple! Up front I used 3x big M3 washers and threaded on the magnets. After a few hours. Downfall on this body is the very thin lexan, I can't remember last time I was near a body this thin. Must be less than half millimeters at the valance/spoiler area. When drilling the holes for the bumper to headlight bracket, 3 of 4 holes tore when I used the reamer. Most of times, a reamer makes perfect holes... Still have spot light stickers left to fit here Seems like Dana and Fox are liking this Escort |

Todays task was to fit the M05 one piece arms and the new ball suspension pin up front + the new turnbuckles
Changed tthe rear arms as well Also changed the gears as they were notchy + one dogbone driveshaft. Then my stable mates got it back Tried to fix the rear toe out on the left rear wheel, but the issue is the suspension hinge pin is pointing outwards as it goes forward. Will need a new chassis as I don't have a spare that is good. |
