So I found a mint (possibly even new) Savage XL in the loft at the weekend minus it’s engine, exhaust & fuel tank & I’m undecided whether to sell it or turn it into something useable so I was wondering.. are EP conversion kits still a thing?From memory Integy used to do one & possibly Castle Creations did but that was years ago & it looks like HPI have discontinued theirs. I’ve had plenty of nitro Savages and I’ve had E-Maxx, E-Zilla etc but never an electric Savage. 

I’m in UK & about 7yrs out of date RC-wise so no idea what the scene is like stateside now but do ppl still do conversions? 

I modified an USA1 nitro crusher in brushless. You can find a generic motor support, a motor pinion and a big bl combo. So you can put a 3s lipo inside. It's not so expensive.
