Most painted lexan will be cloudy anyway thats how the paint connects. After a repaint it normaly only shows at windows but might be saved with some polishing.

I’m going to chuck an old lexan shell in just to see what happens, and then see if jewellers rouge paste will do it’s job on the window areas, just for research purposes, because why not :)
I will report back on this also, tho maybe a while :S

24 hours later and a good outcome I think
Would I be right in thinking that on the original RS this part was clear lexan, anyone?

:) no buddy. All these cockpit types are in thin ABS like it. Group C , rallye, and jtcc btcc.

It’s a shame it has been so badly distorted before I got it, notice the drivers seat back leaning inwards :(
If you try to straighten it it shows the cracks, so a bit of work to do yet :y:!
