Since the son of a friend of mine wrecked my M-02 chassis within 1 hour of driving it i had to construct replacement parts.
Front and rear steering knuckles for M-02 chassis if someone needs that stuff too.

Rear steering knuckle

Front steering knuckles

I agree that knuckles plastic is too hard. Personaly I never brocke one on my fiat. But I ran it when plastics were young. :D

I really start to love this HIPS material. Very strong and also only 75% the weight of the original part.
Still working on the enclosure to be able to start printing the big body parts.

Lemsko, I've just printed a whole shell in HIPS to see how easy it is to print with. It came out very well. I'm not sure if HIPS would be the best for the knuckles even though its really light but I don't know for sure. I think the knuckles would be better in Pet-G as its a bit less brittle than PLA

Well i have to look how long these parts last when Yasmin gets a chance to drive the beetle again :D

Since i printed now all the tiny parts with that stuff and started cleaning them for painting the parts break much less than PLA, also like how easy it is to sand,

It does sand easy I must admit. Pet-G prints at pretty much the same settings as HIPS so you should be good to go if you try it.
