Thx,
the Triumph GT6 got its Spitfire texture because before the racing title i worked for 4 years for iENT Warbirds. Originally i planed to do a Messerschmitt Kabinenroller with Bf109 texture too, but then had no time because i had to work on Steel Beasts Pro

I just asking myself while looking at the hypnotic in progress print if it is possible to print in polycarbonate?
it seems that filament exists for this www.amazon.fr/D...B08RSBB842 Nozzle temp 285°C and bed temperature 130°C might be a difficulty, but... That got me thinking... I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them

ST I would see if you can get a sample of the filament and print at your max and see what happens, I have some nylon which im going to try at my max temps for the printer and see what happens.
Lem, I am going to a car show today and possibly tomorrow as there is always more there on Sunday, I will see if there may be a gt6 not sure about the Messerschmitt but there will be classics there from 50's upwards I will take photo's Regards

If you have a standard hotend (not all metal) then you are limeted to 250° max. I currently print my Hips with 244° at the hotend and 106° for the bed. Additionally i use hairspray and a raft for all parts. the body parts i printed with 40mm/s and the small items with 30mm/s. Cooling off, only for bridging the cooling is turned on. Thats for Hips from Filamentum.
Lee: I am looking forward to see the photos, i will go to a night race-crawler meeting at our local club later, will also do photos. I miss the smell of these classic cars at these events... Here are some photos from 2019 shot at an outdoor museum in Hamburg, unfortunally since Covid i havnt been to any event anymore. Kiekeberg Museum |
