Body finally passes STL check. Had a lot of errors build in, like hidden faces, double edges etc. Peter, my 3D Print tester also wants to print rims and tires, so it will get proper 13" rims :)

If the body is anything like the wheels, this will be a good one for sure
Awesome wheels!

Lemsko, what are you going to do about the windows and windscreen ??
It would look awesome with clear glass and a driver inside.
Cheers Al.

For windows I sugest to use scrap bits from some sort of packages.
Everything seems to be sold in those type of emballages, like screwdriver sets etc.

For rubber on windscreen and rear windows, you can use H type rubber for airplane cockpit glass.
There is also some that is missing the last leg of the H letter type, which can also work.
I bought some of that stuff many years ago for my Vanagon project (still not started).
At least last time I looked, those rubber gaskets comes in different sizes, I picked the one that was closes to the scale I needed.

I do not remember the brand, but I can take a look tomorrow if I can find it.
Edit: Found them. www.fourmostpro...s-flanges/

I have the #132 one...

Thx for the tips :)
I already have some clear plastic sheets from packages stored.....was planed for aircraft canopies, but since i dont fly anymore....

On the model the windows are only covered for the 3d printer. without the windows it would need a lot of structure to hold it stable while printing. window frame including rubber seal is modelled into the body, but i will have to see how much of it gets lost during printing. I noticed a lack of detail in the rims too. On 1 hand it makes it easier for future models, on the other hand its a bit sad, since it really needed work to get all the details connected to 1 mesh and still maintain the quad structure. In my game models there is no need to meshsmooth the whole model, so it was a mixed bag of triangles and quads. For this here i need to be strict with quads only or the smoothing produces surface errors.

Driver...i planed a pilot figure of myself, now it will be changed to a driver. Just need better weather and a friend will some photos of my head, but i suck at organic modelling. I can build technical objects, but animals or humans there my missing design education is showing off.
