offset is a dead simple issue when you have a 3D printer: you just have to print hex with the proper thickness (And I have a set of many sizes, as sometimes, I get a set of 2.2" wheels to run a car and keep the vintage wheels in good state).
I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them :-)

About the wheels, what is your opinion, the classic steely ones painted silver or the ones currently fitted?

I had some problems with the paint. I noticed some dents and bulges, removed the paint, used putty again, sanded, my friend even put the fingers over it....flat. spray painted and its back. I repeated that 2 more times, end result was worse than before.
I dont know what causes this. Anyway, i alreay blew the budget with an additional paint and filler can. I have some vinyl here, a creme white and also a bordeaux red. i thought i do a center white stripe bordered by small red lines and use a losely based michellin theme and cover the the most offending areas with michellin men.

Oh and some progress of other areas after i had problems with my airbrush pistol....turned out the error was in front of the pistol the whole afternoon.

Steel wheels painted silver will fit it better I thinks.

It's maybe the deep dish that make it not look to convincing...?

There is also other "steel wheels" out there with less deep dish, but without the tire ring around it.
MST makes plastic ones, so do Junfac/Gmade.
Boom racing makes real steel ones.
RC4WD makes real steel ones.

Those are what I remember atm...

no body kit needed for the simple beauty I was thinking about it, but a racing version i could only drive on tarmac. I will make a classic car rallye version out of it.
