Big clearout thread 9 years 7 months ago #30226

Decided I need to get rid of some junk and raise some funds.
More details will follow, but a quick list from memory:
  • Various vintage 27MHz radio gear - mainly Futaba and Acoms
  • Tamiya Striker roller
  • Thunder Tiger / Panda "Pandamonium" buggy - grasshopper clone roller
  • Cen GX-1 nitro chassis, suspension and gearbox parts
  • Tamiya Monster truck wheels & tyres (one front, one rear) - possibly Lunchbox, Blackfoot??
  • Kyosho Optima and others wheels
  • Kyosho Optima mid(?) chassis and drivetrain parts
  • AYK 566B buggy rear tyres
  • NIP Mardave Marauder spur gears (Rocking Horse do-do)
  • Other Marauder bits

There is bound to be more. Let me know if any of the above is of interest and I'll prioritise those pictures.

I'm also looking for a Monster Truck / Wheelie project vehicle for my son (Lunchbox, Pumpkin, Blackfoot, Mudblaster etc) to trade for any of the above stuff.

Big clearout thread - Vintage AM transmitters 9 years 7 months ago #30291

Acoms Techniplus MK III

Techniplus Alpha

Ropey MK II

Pair of MK I - probably could make one reasonable one out of the pair

Techniplus MK IV(?) and Futaba Attack R

Very old and very knackered Futaba M series. Missing side panels. Gimbals are nice though,

To keep it simple: £10 each posted to UK for first one. £5 for each additional in the same delivery.

I have matching receivers for some of these. Need to dig through my boxes.
Prepared to negotiate for bulk orders and/or the poorer units.
May also trade for interesting stuff.

For the more intact units, I try to stick some batteries in and test them out.

Believe this includes:
  • Set of Ultima (Turbo??) wheels
  • Set of Rallye wheels (RS500, Peugeot 405 etc)
  • Set of Optima wheels and tyres. Wheels are in quite good nick, but need paint stripping. Tyres about 1/2 worn
  • Optima (Mid?) random bits - gearbox, diff etc
  • Drive chain from (I believe) Optima

Tested some of the transmitters last night (with a good receiver and servos).
4 of the Techniplus MKIII's are complete and work. £10 each posted UK
The Techniplus Alpha works. £10 posted UK
The MKI/II's power up but only two operated the servos. Selling those three as a job lot to make one good one. £15 posted UK for all three.

They're on ebay now. Prices above are "TB special" ;)
Open to sensible offers and interesting trades (Lunchbox or similar project maybe?)

Martin,
I would be interrested in the AYK 566B tires. Do you have a picture? Price?

Gimme a little while to dig them out Tom. They wont be expensive. Treads are good, but the inner edges have been cut, presumably to fit them to a different car.

Currently moving most of my RC stuff out of my "office" at home and into storage at work (because the wife wants the dining room back, which means moving the xBox into my office). This means a lot of junk has resurfaced.
I will post more soon, but I still have a big box of 27MHz transmitters of various vintages that could be had very cheaply.

I'm going to be having another big clearout soon, so watch this space.
Items that will be appearing (from memory only at the moment):
Most of these will be "projects" (i.e. incomplete and/or collection of parts in a box) that I will never get around to finishing
  • Still have most of the vintage transmitters shown above
  • Vintage Hotshot project
  • Holiday Buggy copy musical toy!
  • Losi xxt (I think) truggy
  • Wheels, tyres, spares for above
  • MRC Thunder King monster truck chassis (twin motor, 1/8 scale)
  • Tamiya Fast Attack Vehicle
  • Mardave Cobra or two
  • Tamiya Striker - part restored
  • Very nice original Mardave Marauder and spares
  • Tamiya M-something chassis (FWD)
  • *
  • *
  • *
Will post pictures when I get round to it. If you are interested in any of the above, please feel free to prod me.
There is bound to be more stuff as I dig through the boxes.
