I followed on TV the Paris-Dakar at the "Best" period of TSO (Thierry Sabine Organisation) on "La 5" Channel (French would know very well). So I will search in Europe a Porsche 959 with the Rothmans decals (even if I quit smoking for 10 years)

Brace yourself as those has got very expensive the last couple of years.
There is a FB site dedicated to the 959 and the Celica GRB.
Not seen then to go under 300 Euros, even in really poor shape.

Me too is very fond of those years of Paris-Dakar and remember well the 959 and the Pug 405 and 205 being raced.
Did you know that there is a new class in the 2021 Dakar, called Classic?
The race is now active and you will find the Youtube channel, Dakar.
There is no 959 being raced in the Classic class this year, but there is a 911 replica.

I do not have Eurosport which I assume do air the Dakar race, so all I can do is watch Youtube....

I had one but must to sell it some years ago for spares I swapped it with 2 auto rcm when I was at school. It was in poor condition but relatively complete.
