To be fair to him, he’s added a new set of rear arms in the sale.

It’s got an after market chassis.
I bought the same one or very similar for my Hot Shot, back in the mid 80’s.

... but look at the kludges - broken resistor badly routed to the front & held down with sandwich bag ties, the GRP speed control link, the badly wrapped wire joints, the bits of Meccano (?) & who knows what battery holders, the split tyres

But apart from all of that .......

Apart from all the things wrong with it, it looks perfect. :)

The most over used word in this hobby, “ vintage “.

Car boots should rebrand themselves as vintage sales.

I thought the most overused words in RC were "no returns due to nature of hobby"

But yes, "vintage" is horribly overused, if you ask Google you'll see that something has to be 100 years old to be antique, but anything more than 20 is considered "vintage"

According to my youth spent in the 1970s and 80s (watching Space: 1999 on TV and reading 2000AD), anything less than 20 years old is from the future ;)

Anything from 1985 and before could be considered "classic", I don't think anything newer than 1950 should be considered "vintage".
