Well, I initiated a heavy slide on exactly the wrong spot where two layers of asphalt overlap creating an edge, jolting the axle and rolling the vehicle.
This afternoon I have been planning, and executing, the layout of my Sand Scorcher. I've bought a couple of these "hump back" Carson batteries from ModelsportUK, and a pretty quick servo. Since I borrowed an axle from my sandscorcher now I have to wait till I get my spares. Or just snitch one back from my Fighter. (I've temporarily installed the bent axle on the scorcher to balance the car while working on it)

I came to a stopping point on my Hot Shot 2 resto this morning so I cracked open my re-re Optima kit. It looks beautiful but the tires sure smell pretty strong.

All better now If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate

That is the smell of fresh rubber. Enjoy it while you can, together with a dash of gasoline fumes it is soon about to become a rarity. So what did I do today? Not much. But last night I speed-built my second Holiday, this time the re-re. I used ballbearings instead of nylon bearings on all places.
