Great kit. It was a breeze to build and I'm really impressed with the quality and how little slop there is in the steering set up. It came with a really nice brushless esc that I'm gonna throw into the Giulla when she arrives. Ball bearings will go in tomorrow or as time allows. I'm waiting on my reciever which the post man did not deliver today ...

Came with best little disc hex which would probably look pretty good painted.if only they weren't abs.

Still undecided on body colour or if I'll go boxart livery on it yet. A deep flake dark dark green is calling to me....

:y: It looks to be a very interesting chassis. I love the rims. You maybe should paint them to be more realistic. And the body sounds great.

Great thread!
I've updated your second post, like Flo suggested, and inserted the images to show the difference.

Decided on emerald black by nissan for the body colour. Just ordered 3 sets of tires and rims and a can of anthracite metallic to paint all my rims. Few more coats and she's ready for decals... and I am super happy I read the score and tear page before I started cutting ,
Makes it so easy...

Ah Thanks not chameleon just the crappy garage lights playing tricks, i Use only high end automotive paints for my models always have as I am an old ex bodyman. It is called emerald black by Nissan. I often get spoken to firmly on forums when i say i use car paint, But i prep my body with simple green and then an alcohol prep I use for pre dipping actual car rims, I also start with one thin base coat and let dry and keep adding coats each 8 mins until the crackles start (usually about 6 to 8 coats) ,Crackles will usually only present themselves on curves, let dry for 20 and add another 2 coats to seal her in nice and smooth like glass, I then usually will spray that with an sand-able auto primer of some sort after letting color cure for 48 hrs or so depending on weather. Never have had a cracking issue or peeling problem, its all in your prep and cure. Now i am literally waiting for paint to dry....which is fine because my receiver and transmitter still didn't show up yet ! oh well, ill post pics once decal-ling...
