Anyway, the reason why I dredged up an old thread ...
I found the original shocks off this build in my spares box ... and wondered why on earth I'd bought re-re ones & used them instead - they cleaned up really well Wet & dry paper, polish with Autosol, and an ultrasonic clean to meake sure the threads were clean, then rebuilt with 2 new seals each & a bit of PTFE tape at each end, I'll fit them later. But still - given the state of some things I've restored, I must have had a bit of a brain fart here |

Great resto!
Did you find the issue with the front suspension? |

You mean the wonky right wheel? Both right front arms are slightly bent and twisted, but it's not just in one place, it's over the whole length. So far I've just lived with it than risk breaking them by overworking them trying to straighten them out. If I was to try anything, my first step would be to make some tooling to just fit both ends so I didn't leave tool and/or vice marks all over them. |

Yep, that right wheel. Have you run it, or is it a shelf queen? Great resto bud. Nicely Done. |

I always plan to run my cars, although some are definitely more "Sunday best" than others |
