Been feeling i could do better on this ... step one was to make some licence plates - key bits being preformed 6mm and 2mm lettering from Slaters...
TBH the 2mm letters are fiddlier than I can manage to handle accurately ... ... and painted. Not real, not reproduction, not perfect - but better than re-re plates & decals |

I know "SS" in the very narrow context of Americans talking about certain post-WWII US "sports" cars means "Super Sports", but even then I find it problematic ... but to read a European using it as an abbreviation for anything just seems wrong - it is & forever will mean Waffen-Schutzstaffel Moving on ... i do have one (just the one, between 2 cars ) - dimensions (but note tapers/curves): overall length = 19.9mm width at widest point = 3.05mm width at narrowest point = 1.05mm maximum height (excluding location pips) = 3mm wide flat = 6mm narrow flat = 3.7mm
