The Technituned motor was released a few months after the Technipower unit. Manufactured by Mabuchi, and also available as a Mabuchi brand. The Technituned has more turns and milder characteristics compared to the Technipower.
Tamiya never released info on number of turns and wire, but enthusiasts has since checked and documented.
