The Black version of the 58001 Porsche Turbo RSR Type 934 was made by Tamiya to celebrate 100.000 units sold of the regular Porsche 934 . The Black version never received an official model number. (I'm using "58000" just to have a reference) The 58001 Porsche 934 was a huge success for Tamiya when it started selling early December 1976 and only one year later the kit had sold 100.000 units, and Tamiya decided to celebrate it by making their first ever Limited Edition RC model, the Black Porsche 934. The Black 934 is the first complate reissue, as a colour variant.
The differences are as follows: (not limited to...)
Chassis:
The chassis parts are black-anodized. There are also other more subtle changes to the chassis components.
Body:
The body is molded in black plastic.
Decals:
The Black 934 decals are different from the 58001 934.
Box:
the box is quite unique. It's black with a shape more for carrying and includes a carrying canvas bag.
Manual:
The manual is unique for the black 934.
