Model description & notes:

The XR311 is Tamiya's first off-road RC vehicle, if you disregard the early Tanks. The XR311 had soft pneumatic tires, double wishbone independent suspension with the weak point being the plastic torsion bars.

This kit has been reissued under the same model number twice. The re-releases are different from the original, but the two reissues are identical to one another.
First reissue released 27th Sept. 2000 at 22800 Yen.
Second reissue released in 2012 at the same price, 22800 Yen.
