Yes i have to agree, the paintjob was done very nicely. But as i am BAB, i think i will give it an original paintjob :)

:P My second froggy. Looks nice. Just the pilot is missing and the body accuses the age. It is dead. A good cleaning and let's go.

If anybody has a pilot and 1 old futaba transmitter wich can be with the radioset, I'm interested.

:) My blitzer beetle arrived today. The chassis is in very good chape but I need oïl shocks. A lot of parts are available with.
The body is destroyed :cry:

Today i welcome my 75th member to my Tamiya collection (58001-58100). :)
Is in great shape, all original nothing broken, will get a new paintjob an i will have to find some original decals for it!

Paint looks suspiciously like VW "Jazz Blue" metallic, probably not a colour I'd have chosen for it but still well within the realms of "Box Art" IMO ... just give it a rub out & polish up to make it "more yours", although it does depend how well it's been done. Things always look better in photos - and it looks like the driver has been sprayed the same colour over bare black plastic which might lead one to believe the painter was, for want of a better word, a bit of a cretin :whistle:

If you're a believer in using exact Tamiay paint codes though, then yes, it's got to go :lol:
