looks good in both IE9 and Firefox:
In IE9:

Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.
www.tamiyabase.com was formatted automatically.

Any good suggestions for a .com site name, guys? Can't do tamiyafan.com (since '06 or something)...
I think it should have "Tamiya" in it somewhere but ultimately not necessarily.
Seeing how Tamiyabase is excellently chosen by the way!
Hard to think of something that's not similar to anything existing, or has the same abbreviation.
A "clean" Google search would also be nice...
Tamiyapoint for example mostly leads to Tamiya paint!

All the pages on the site have been rewritten. Thanks for the tips, Lars. :)
Should be quite browser and resolution friendly now.
I discovered I can use the same site and enter a .com as the reference on the webhosting I'm already using...

Tamiya-Fan.com
TamiyaFanatic.com (I like this the best tbh.. :cheer: )
TamiyaAce.com
TamiyaDF01.com

All available for anyone :-)

Pretty good. Hadn't consider "-" yet. :)
Almost anything is possible (apart from TamiyaFan) really...
I've been looking at synonyms for a couple of days, trying to pick a good one.
Hence recognizing the excellent choice of base.

EssentialTamiya - too much UltimateTamiya
TamiyaPlace - too much like TamiyaBase
TamiyaPoint - bad search result (paint)
TamiyaHaven - search mainly thinks the second bit is "haven't"
TamiyaFreak - haven't checked yet
TamiyaRealm - a bit too medieval

Anywho, I'll keep thinking about it!

It's been decided! TamiyaWeb.com! :cheer:
Not too bad after TamiyaZone and TamiyaWorld were taken...

Other ones that crossed my mind :

TamiyaCentral
TamiyaCustoms
CustomTamiya
TamiyaPlaza
PlazaTamiya
CasaTamiya
And quite a few more...

:silly:

TamiyaWeb... nice. :)

Thanks, I'll see if I can implement it soon. :)
Finding out they lure you a bit with a low first annual fee for registration but then you need all kinds of additional packages to make anything work at all - domain linking, pricavy shielding and what not...

First I'll make a new header and a couple of serious disclaimers it's a fansite with such a particular adress...

Are you going to up the contrast a bit? My eyesight is not that bad & I have a large monitor, but I still really struggle to read anything on your site :(
