To be honest it doesn't become much harder and not so jerky as some of the other motors I own.
But I don't know how a new (or in good conditions) Acto is if spinned by hand.

It is normal for an Acto Power to spin easily by hand. The magnets in an Acto Power are not very strong, so they are not going to provide a lot of resistance when you try to spin the motor. If the magnets were gone, the motor would not be able to spin at all.
