Hmm... I recall someone having fixed the F40 shell I have with the stuff.
Must be another substance then. Haven't ever used it myself actually. Not an option to put it on the magnets, let it cool a bit and then apply? How hot is it practically...

No idea about other makes/models, but there's a warning label on mine (a 2003 Arrow Electro-matic TR550) says the glue & nozzle reach 196 Celcius. |

They apparently come in high (170-195) and low (75-130) temperature versions...
