Out of all the Tamiyas I've restored over the years the Hotshot 2 is the only vintage buggy that I wish I'd kept. Even though it made the most money from a one dollar reserve auction & it got the most attention. I'm told it's because Tamiya made less of this model & there's not many shelf queens left. It would be cool to have the full set of the vintage models that use that use that uses that type of chassis design.

My other car is a Tamiya - bumper sticker on my van
