Modern brushed equivalent to Technigold? 9 years 5 months ago #32051

So, looking on the bay of e, it appears that a new Technigold motor costs somewhere north of $200. I would love to put something similar in performance to the TGold in my Avante 2001 (current motor is actually for my touring car and I fear it's going to destroy the gearbox).

Anybody know what the TGold's specs were (# of turns etc), or know of a good substitute?

Thanks

TVL

HI!... BTW I've bought several NIP Technagold motors and never paid $200. Most, I get around $65-$100 max.

Tried to insert links to the bay of e, but for some reason it won't let me. Anyway, used one for $100 USD, new one for $259...

Thanks for the info.

I read somewhere that there is an alternative, a look-alike, available on Ebay.
found this one:

I believe someone also made repro stickers for the Technigold?
