The Celica is of course based on a real rally car, See the pictures below, they show that Tamiya did a descent job in copying. The second last picture with the car flying is from the Safari Rally. (this picture is actually a scan from a calendar, I'm told...) the rest of the pictures are from a recent veteran rally.
