Xtals from the second ad don't work either. Same "nervous" unresponsiveness.
What the badword is the clue with these things?

I don't think it's of much use getting other crystals until I can try things out with another (Futaba) transmitter...

Newly discovered (or not realised before) that European frequencies end with a "half" digit - a 5 - such as 40.685MHz.
Crystals ending with a zero are used in Japan... like one of the pairs I got.

These frequencies are also programmed in my new 3GR futaba transmitter. :-S
Not quite legal to use here I'm afraid...
Had not realised not every frequency was synthesizable but only what's pre-programmed (Japanese in this case).
