Forum rules - revision 15th September 2014

Welcome to TamiyaBase.com's forum. In order to make your stay as pleasant and constructive as possible please take your time to read through this document. These rules can be changed without notice though normally we announce changes via announcement in all the forums.

Rules:

  1. Newly registered members will not be allowed to post links for the first period. This is to reduce the amount of spam being posted.
  2. Swearing or aggressive posts/comments of any sort will not be tolerated. This includes obvious misspellings of words and asterisking out certain letters, where the clear intention is to swear.
  3. The “badword” filter of TB is not an excuse to use swear words, it’s a notice to you that you should edit your post to remove the relevant word.
  4. Anyone that in any way promotes any material which may be considered obscene and/or pornographic will have their membership revoked.
  5. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member, turn to the respective moderator(s).
  6. Members are responsible for all text they write, including quotes.
  7. Do not spam. No advertising of your own business unless it's in your own "TamiyaBase.com Sponsor Forum"
  8. No cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it may be locked or deleted without warning.
  9. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention. Post with such content may be deleted.
  10. The official language, and only allowed language, is English.
  11. Having multiple profiles are prohibited and are grounds for immediate account deletion.
  12. Political discussions are prohibited, as is any discussion on religion and religious matters.
  13. Repeat offenders of these rules will have their membership revoked.

Some good advice:

  1. Read up before asking! Use the search function before posting. Chances are your question has already been answered.
  2. Keep the focus in threads: Questions outside the scope of a certain thread will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted.
  3. Learn the index of the forum in order to place your topics correct.
  4. Be nice to each other and respect the moderator(s).
  5. If you edit your post, describe what you edit and why.
  6. Use a title that describes the content of your post.
  7. Don't post just to increase your number of posts. If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't post.
  8. Be patient, don't expect an answer within 5 minutes of your post.
  9. Instructions by the moderator team are to be followed.

The interpretation of these rules is solely up to the owner of this forum and can change at any time without prior notice. If you're unsure about what constitutes a breach of a rule, ask a moderator or the owner.

If you don't comply with these rules you will face sanctions.
