Sucks! I hate the french postal services. Always problems with them.

I've gone all vintage over lock down, Porsche 936, Celica LB turbo and 2 Countaches.
So I was on the look out for some rubber slicks for my 936, I'd been searching for a while when these popped up and from someone I'd bought from before.
 

They turned up today and I'll be honest, I was a bit nervous for some reason.
And that gut feeling has been proven to be right.

 

I don't know if this is from storage, but one of the fronts is not looking great.
All I can think to do is put it in some glycerine for a while and then put in some foam insert material when I put it on the wheel.
This was always going to be one for the shelf, but I am a bit gutted.

On the plus side the other 3 tyres are great and the boxes are in pretty nice shape.

Like it was cuted by a lexan wheele arch around its first run. It doesn't look new. A flat spot and rounded angles

That tire look indeed like it has been used.
Don't think damage like that can occur while in storage.

Seller must surely know this....?
