Wrong, the one on mine is narrower than the normal bumper.
Earliest one that has the same bumper as mine is the TA01 Escort.
Look closely on my pictures and you will see the bumper ends right after the 2 holes on each side and it also have ribs on it on the inside.
The normal one is wider.
The bit that throws me out is the red hubs, but I will investigate further

Sooo busy I haven't had a chance to post in a while, more spectate you guys posting.

Thought I would post this though. It's a Kyosho Datsun 4x4. I actually bought it as a refurb project being fuel and I wanted to clean something like this up. I subsequently found out it was the Tamiya 4x4's rival from Kyosho. A nice rare find which naturally I will now try and find bits and bobs for.

Does anyone here have one with body etc for reference?

So the one a posted a pic of was a Chev body for the Electric version, The Datsun body for this truck is rare and I cn only find the stepside version :O TBG have a couple of bodies but would need to check dimensions to confirm fitment

I scoped out that TGB body on ebay, I may message them and see if it was cast from an original or custom made to be "like" the original. I would definitely buy one. Then comes the task of the Datsun mirrors, roll bar and spot lights. I am pretty sure I will never find them as "spares" but maybe hunt someone who has the motivation to lend me some for repro?

Yeah it happened to me to, I now have 4 (which is still a tiny number next to the Tamiya's ) and I'm looking for a rare one that has caught my eye

Maybe marui big bear roll bar fits on these funny kyosho? Or look for graupner / robbe parts. First kyosho were sold under graupner brand in Europe.

A lovely little trade I received today. I was thinking about one of these for a while and struck a deal with another collector.
