Hi there (mostly Lars I reckon),

Eddrick raised an interesting point to me - that it would be very convenient if there was a section on one's profile page where only the topics can be seen that the particular member has started.
Besides the messages that were posted generally...
Don't know if this is possible to create but I think it's a very good suggestion.
Even if it came from laziness towards making a forum signature.

:lol: ;)

On another note - what about a new award category, the Showroom Award?
An alternative (or additional one) could be a Gallery Award...

what about the best Showroomoff Award? B)

I like the idea of the profile page started threads section, should make it easier to find one own postings. :y: somehow the search funtion allways show everything except that what I was looking for. :whistle:

I could imagine that being connected to a Photo Comp... :)
And possibly a chance to qualify for next year's calendar that way?

Waterbok - yes, trying to find threads I'd started, with a view to doing a signature thingy was what spurred the question. I also thought "If someone wanted to know/see what you've been up to or find out more about you, where would they look - your profile"

Edou - not so much lazy as computer-related-illiteracy.
For me, putting them together & making them work is easy enough, making software work is a form of magic, of which I have no knowledge....
I read the "how to" on putting links in a signature, but to be honest, there's too many weird numbers/letters/click this/do that, & I don't understand it, much less recognise why I was doing it &/or be able to correct it if I did it wrong!

Bit sad really, I program PLCs without any problem, but Excel will have me stumped in 30 seconds!

Gents,
I have been checking around, and I don't have any immediate solution to the "my own topics" list in the profile.
I'll note it down as animprovement, but I can't promise anything.

Awards are easier (like for the next Calendar)So, let me know what you want and I'll set it up.

Now I'l return to tweaking the new Model DataBase . ;)
Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.
www.tamiyabase.com was formatted automatically.

Eddrick, once you get the hang of making these links you'll see it's all the same.
Only two things need to be filled in - a web adress and the name you want to give the link.
The two question marks :
[url=?]?[/url]
A link to your profile for example would be :
? = http://www.tamiyabase.com/eddrick/
and

? = "Eddrick's profile"
[url=http://www.tamiyabase.com/eddrick/]Eddrick's profile[/url]
Eddrick's profile

Tricky little thing would be how to navigate to the place where this should be placed to appear in the forum signature...
Your profile > hover over Edit (left top) > Update your profile > Forum (most right) and then place it in the available window.

No one can be exceptional in every discipline of course. ;)
