Awesome. And that's not simply "bling", that is actual usable light for when it's totally dark.

That's exactly what I was thinking about... Cosmos 1999!

In the UK the show was called Space1999 it's a classic. I have it on DVD.  I also Like the tv series UFO from 1971.  There are some vehicles I would like to make into RC one day. 
 

I was inspired by the movie "the martian" but not wanting to faithfully copy that rover because the gopro would not have been able to see through the windshield.
I just interpreted those shapes with imagination.
