Some last mods were made to the Blackfoot. Pulled the Lunchies springs out to go onto the BF. Its perfect now and the ride is much better. Also swapped the Badlands for some Cliff Crawlers. I think it looks much better and they seem to grip quite well. They are much softer than the Badlands. The sport tuned was pulled out and replaced with a silver can that I had that seems like it wants to be a Torque Tuned... The low speed power feels more controllable. She also got her own Radio now.
A very quick vid of us hitting some trails:

Cleaned the truck and decided to take some final shots of the setup.
Receiver and esc placement. 2000uf glitch buster included for the high torque servo. High current UBEC Lots of wiring Chassis brag shot Cva shorts at 94mm with stock CW01 springs. Perfect setup. Cliff Crawlers looking mean Stance with body. The battery weight gives it a slight bit of droop. Looks awesome. Runs like a dream. Tackles trails like a champ, obviously slightly limited with being rwd but a bit of extra throttle gets it up or over whatever’s in the way. An 3300mah nimh supplies enough power for around 1.5hrs of average trail driving at walking speeds over rocks, up sandy hills and muddy walkways. I can only imagine how these would be with locked diff 4wd brushless. Awesome truck! Hugo

So I popped into a new shop today advertising 50% off Tamiya parts. Just had to have a look.
First thing that caught my eye was the TGM-02 spring set. Ended up just buying that though. Think I should just go back tomorrow to pick up the TGM shock set thats hanging there too! Anycase. The Xtreme got some new springs. No more rolling over on hard turns. Planted properly. Suspension is stiff, but, just right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Changed the pinion to 20t to see how it runs. Top speed is better but the overall throttle feel seems much more accurate.
She’s complaining about how loud it is now, lol. Brass pinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
