Thanks.... I may end up havin a few spares then :P

Probably a couple of 850s too if I remember well. Those are for the Top Force steering mechanism.

There's a lot of variations that can be made to the chassis, my Ray ended up like this (a Hummer) :

This thread got a bit silent. Kind of missed the last post also. Main reason is that parts arrive slowly. My tracking number says that the new rotor was sent to delivery point today so I may be able to pick it up tomorrow. I will also go by my neighbors new place to pick up my dynatech which is installed in his tamiya Ferrari f1. And start working on it a bit. Also check the brushes and bearings of the motor. I'm thinking it would be better to replace the motor bearings after ao many years of storage.

I think I will need to start another restoration thread. The Manta ray arrived today and I'm going to pick it up this afternoon, but looky what came with my salvaged(I hope) dynatech 02H. Restoration of this start today and the dynatech will take it's rightful place in the Ray.

another nice but a little less dusty.
from a first inspection I will need to clean everything and the CVAs
they will need oil for sure.
clean all the gears and grease them. then install the bearings and try to find a new body. it may take more than a month to restore this one. If by any chance my supposed to be binned Manta ray appears in the next few days that will be a pleasant surprise :woohoo:

This will power the Manta Ray after it was cleaned up and the new rotor was installed.
