I stripped my 959 rear gearbox today to fit my new center diff set, only to find that the counter bevel gear is missing its thrust bearing which is called SB2 (2mm) in the manual .
Does anyone know what this bearing looks like or indeed where to get a replacement ?? The good news is that the car appears fully ball raced so not all bad news!! Thanks Quattrokid,.

It is a similar flat bearing (thrust?) Than in ball diffs I think.

I did an error. On the counter bevel, If my mind is not too poor, this bearing has a tamtech size but I am not sure.

Pretty sure it will be a 620 Ball Thrust bearing (Tamiya part # SP5016) if you want expensive or a 2x6x3 ball thrust bearing

if you want better value

is this right
the one in the pic is original one but i think u can use Tamiya 49300/AO-5016 620 Ball Thrust Bearing (2 Pcs.) (DF03/FF03/TA05/TRF416) one thing about them must be in the right way |

The bearings from RC bearings are correct , only difference is they are in 3 parts. Work perfectly.
