Tamiya TRF417 V5 premium package chassis kit (42240)

The 7th biennial IFMAR ISTC World Championship took place in July 2012, with Tamiya driver Jilles Groskamp achieving an historic victory over a field containing the world's best. Not only was this an unprecedented third consecutive victory for the TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) team, it also brought Tamiya's total IFMAR touring car title haul to five. Tamiya has now made this hi-tech championship-winning machine available to customers as the TRF417 V5 Premium Package Chassis Kit.

The newly-designed 2.25mm flat-type lower deck ensures optimum aerodynamics even at speeds in excess of 100km/h. The upper deck is likewise newly-designed and provides optimum roll balance in conjunction with the one-piece aluminium servo mount. New aeration dampers have been developed to offer smooth and progressive damping effect. Front and rear 3.5mm carbon fibre damper stays have redefined damper attachment positions. Front direct coupling is equipped with steel cup joints and coupled with double Cardan drive shafts. With so many improvements, it will almost feel like you're driving a brand new model!
