The March 782 BMW is the first Tamiya F2 model. As usual from the early days of Tamiya, the model is a replication of a real one (see 1::1 Scale section) The model is a challenge to build when it comes to painting, as the details of the engine is left to the builder. The chassis is on the other hand basic, not requiring much skill to screw the few screws together to make it solid. Worth mentioning are the rubber tyres. Many models from this time share the fronts, but the rears are specific to the F2 models. The F2 models are all equipped with 380 motors, which must have been underpowered because of the relative heavy ABS body and chassis. All three F2 models (not including the F2 CS Honda) share the same chassis. There are no differences except in the rear where the March have the wing mounted, where the other two have a steel wire bumper.
