Tamiya Ralt RT2 Hart 420R (58018)

The Ralt RT2 Hart 420R is the last F2 model from Tamiya, launched nearly six months after the two first. 

Unlike the other two F2's (58013 March and 58014 Martini Renault), the Ralt has a less detailed body. the main difference being the covered motor area, eliminating much of the detail painting required on the other two. As usual, Tamiya modelled this RC according to the real-life counterparts. The body came moulded in the blue colour you see on the images making it easier for beginners to get their model looking decent without painting. The model on the above pictures only has a clear coat over the blue plastic, which works very well.

The F2 models are all equipped with 380 motors, which must have been underpowered because of the relatively heavy ABS body and chassis.

All three F2 models (not including the F2 CS Honda) share the same chassis. There are no differences except in the rear where the March have the wing mounted, where the other two have a steel wire bumper.
